List of require documents to apply for a French mortgage
French banks are generally considered to be more cautious and require more documentation than their UK counterparts. This means that non-status lending, self certification mortgages are not available. The mortgage application will be treated quickly and easily if you can provide the full set of documents detailed below. You may delay your application considerably if you do not provide these documents in a single pack. Banks may ask for extra documents, but the following list is comprehensive for the majority of applications.
